I am really enjoying this book. Shamsie's writing is mesmerizing. Class differences in Pakistan beautifully portrayed. Would live to discuss.

I finished it, loved it. The writing is mesmerizing.
Loved Kartography as well.
I think these 2 are her best. I have A God in every stone sitting on my shelf, hope I can get to it soon.

Hm, after seeing the comments I think I'm going to give it another try. (At the moment, its in my 'abandoned-midway' bookshelf on GR, just didnt find it live up to me.)

Ouch.Really not your cup of tea huh.
Although i haven't read Salt and Saffron I have read books i thought were highly overrated.

The only Shamsie book I've really liked is Home Fire.Salt and Saffron is fairly slow,I struggled to finish it.
