Arukiyomi | 271 comments Breaking the sequence of a new edition every two years, I have news that there will be no 2016 edition of 1001 Books. The word is "probably" 2017.

That's more like 5 years then - the last edition was from 2012. It makes more sense than updating the list every two years I guess.
But it's still good news. When I discovered at the beginning of this year that the official website doesn't exist any longer I thought they'd stopped the series for good.

Arukiyomi | 271 comments there's a new Movies book (as there is every year) and there are more titles in the series, so 1001 isn't going anywhere yet

Cataluna6 | 24 comments I need to do some catch up as well, I'm doing great with the kids list this year...the adult one - not so much.

Paula | 57 comments I'm always skeptical of Wikipedia, but it says there is a 2014 version. Does anyone know if that is true and whether or not an on-line version of the 2014 list is available?

message 9: by Casey (new)

Casey (caseynanako) | 11 comments I mean, tbh, this is a good thing for me hahaha. As someone who is trying to complete not only books and movies but eight of the other lists too, a little extra time is a help...

message 10: by Natalie (new)

Natalie (aquariusnat) | 13 comments I wonder if Boxhall and his team have ever considered a genre-themed edition similar to their children's edition ?
