What did you think of it? Favorite or least favorite characters? Favorite or least favorite part?

Lindsey (sairena) | 4 comments I'm half way through this book but i don't know, i just cant seem to get into it. I'm debating on stopping. Does anyone know if it gets better or should i just quit?

I'm the same and I've only just started, I've rolled my eyes at the main characters so many times already. It's all just so cliche, the classic weird fun bubbly main character and the awkward cute boy. Have you got any further with it?

Sorry for potential spoilers in case you care. But I reached a point in the book where the girl was half naked on the beach at a party with a bunch of other men around. Than she proceeded to flip out at the guy in it because he so much as talked to a girl that was an old childhood friend at this party.... After this point I just decided to quite. I was just like nope I cant handle this anymore. This isn't even a good well adjusted relationship in which I want them to be happy together... So you can continue reading if you want to, but personally i just couldn't do it. I hoped this helped :p

Fani I finished it! I went into this book expecting that its main theme was romance so when it didn't live up to my expectations in the first chapters, i contemplated quitting it , but as i kept reading, i realized that this book is focused more on (view spoiler) so i started liking it more and in the end i enjoyed the story as a whole.

I must say that i really liked Vivi's creativity and her energy, however, even though she had a reason for why her personality was this way, she could be sometimes a bit annoying.

I think my favorite character was Jonah, i loved his shyness and his awkwardness around Vivi and his whole situation was really heartbreaking.

My Review

Chloe (chloematus73) I know that no one has commented on this book in forever but I just read it and had to comment. I really loved the mental illness portion of this book. I love books about mental illness, especially ones with teenagers because I happen to be able to find them relatable. I know a lot of people really really don't like Vivi but I do because she seems realistic. But I did not like her relationship with Jonah. Jonah himself wasn't a bad character, and I liked his family. But the relationship seemed really forced and unrealistic. I loved the characters and I loved the mental illness and the relationship. But it shouldn't have all been in one book. Just my opinion :)
