NR...now reading "Radiant Angel"

In this 2nd book in the DI John Rebus series, a dead junkie found in an Edinburgh squat leads to a investigation involving drug addicts as well as the local glitterati. The plot's over-convoluted but it's a pretty good mystery. 3 stars.

Also, see above review(#343) of The Devil's Triangle, it is now #4 on Best Seller list in today's Buffalo paper. I guess some people didn't agree with my review.

Josie Buhrman left her hometown after her father was murdered, her mother joined a cult, and her twin betrayed her. Now, a new podcast about Josie's dad - questioning the guilt of the convicted killer - is upsetting Josie's world. Okay story but the characters aren't too likable. 3 stars

Getting ready to begin another book for my history of crime fiction/mystery challenge:
Richmond: Scenes in the Life of a Bow Street Runner, Drawn Up from His Private Memoranda - likely the first collection of mystery/detective stories, from 1827. The title makes it look like nonfiction, but it's not.
