I was jealous when I read that Alex. I've been to Egypt, but didn't see outside of the hotel (reasons of food poisoning.)

No you saw Howard Carter's house (ok OK and the Nile and Valley of the Kings etc?!?) I saw nothing. I could probably describe the hotel toilet. Why are their phones in their bathrooms?

They made a big thing of showing us that there was a phone in there too. Never did figure out what that was about. Sounds like a weird story line I'd come up with.

"Here is your bathroom. We have installed a phone for you next to the toilet. In case...in case" Nope I've got nothing.

Huge on being tipped. We got through 15 of something £ or $ on our first night because we didn't have change.

We're not as great at tipping over here. We just go around apologising :)

And Kay, since I couldn't answer your question on the article I wrote on the blog, I'll answer it here. I read that you can respond, not to the reviewer, but make mention in the comment section that the problem has been corrected.

I sort of did. It's been in my head for months. I wrote it out whilst watching TV. (I don't think it contains random dialogue from whatever I was watching!)
