My grand total is 40 (over 50).

I have a goal of 180 so I should reach 200. I know that since joining goodreads I am reading more because I am learning about more books.
We have just come back from holiday and part of that holiday was a train journey across Canada. The two trains we took spent a lot of time sitting on sidings waiting for a freight train to go by, so I got a lot of reading done then, not to mention long hours spent at airports.
I am so glad that I have Ibooks on my Ipad mini! With lots of free books!

If you get a chance to take the train, do it. We were on the train called The Canadian from Toronto to Jasper, Alberta. From Jasper, there was a choice of trains so we went north. There were people from all over the world on the train, even New Zealand and Australia. And the food was good.
The sleeping cabin was very cozy(in other words, small).
Today is actually Canada Day, but we celebrated early by taking this trip.

At the moment, I'm reading lots of science fiction. Once I've cleared the current pile, I'm diving back into history.

I did a quiz to find out what kind of reader I am. It was a tie between dedicated reader and obsessive-compulsive reader.
One of the reasons I read so much is that I am a night owl who doesn't watch TV. Plus, I keep looking at my bookshelves and at all the books that I haven't read yet!

I crossed over the 50 book mark in June, so I'm joining you overachievers. I definitely won't be catching up though!
