Christopher is it me or is anyone esle tired seeing a new james patterson book every week. he has already released at least 7 and has 14 new book from now till december 2017 yet to be released. I love his writing style but when you over load the market with your books you dont give the readers a chance to catch up. and at 19.99-29.99 per hard back who can afford that. I would much rather read an author that has maybe 5-6 really good books a year rather that 21-23 rushed books. thoughts.

Kevin does how fast he prints them have to dictate how fast you read them? say he prints 1 per month. you just read 1 every 6 months. if you read them in order......everybody is happy. iJS.

Christopher no not at all but i would like to catch up on his alex cross series and when he drops 4 in a month 3 times a year it seems i dont read that fast. maybe speed reading classes are in my future or books on tape.

Kevin yeah i hear you. i thought the same thing. look at it like this....im have read the first 16 in the series. im waiting for "cross fire" to arrive in the mail soon. this way i can just go to amazon and buy the used book for a buck or 2 plus shipping instead on being first inline at Borders bookstore and pay $12.99 on a new release. this definetely works for me. i buy all my books used. just a thought.

Raj Saraiya Personally, I feel Patterson's old books (such as Along Came a Spider) were his most memorable. Gary Soneji was an amazingly thought out antagonist and his intricate character complexities is something I won't forget.... Definitely one of my favorite novels... I agree! i use to be an avid Patterson fan but I haven't read him in awhile. It seems to me that writing so many books in a short time would lose some of his earlier seriousness.

Billie I agree with the poster above. Mr. Patterson's older books are much more authentic and complete. The Alex Cross series is the only of his books I care to read now. And Gary Soneji was indeed a complex and haunting character. The one other book that is quite different and overlooked by Mr. Patterson is The Jester. That one touched my soul.

Morgan Just read my first Patterson book Along Came A Spider. I know this is a series and because of that I was hoping that Soneji character would have lived and he would have been the taunting killer of Dr. Cross's through out. I enjoyed the read but not as excited about the rest of the series now knowing it could be a stand alone. Soneji was so in depth. I would have loved this to be a series on him taunting Dr. Cross through different crimes and leaving clues for Dr. Cross.

Kevin I've read all of them.
(FYI:about Soneji......keep reading. That is all.)
