Next up is Flame in the Mist for a group read in a different group [excited for this one because of the likening to Mulan] and The Spider and the Fly: A Reporter, a Serial Killer, and the Meaning of Murder [I freaking love true crime books at the moment and this one was at the top of my list and just happened to appear on BorrowBox while I was looking for other books - so freaking keen].

Sorry, I only now noticed this post, but I gotta know what you thought of Brave New World! (if you've finished)

Good luck with your challenge :)

Good luck with your challenge :)

I also have The Stolen Child, Blood & Ink, and The Last Orphans on the back burner. But at least two of these I want to finish and the other one is my backup ebook for outings.

Whoooweeee that is a lot of books you have going on.. Kudos!

How was this book? I read the first but was not sure about the second. 😌

Haha yeah I know. I would love to say I'll finish most of them off before starting another. But I have another two library books I need to finish and I always have a least one audiobook going for my commutes. Although, I do need to break after this one I think and catch up on my podcasts.
“So many books, so little time. Frank Zappa

ha ha ha, I have a few books going at a time....sometimes. I have one book that I dedicate as my gym book and i will only read it if I get my butt to the gym. It is part of my incentive program for myself. Sometimes when I have a lot of cleaning or house projects to do I will grab an audiobook. Helps the monotony of the tasks :D

The gym idea is great! I almost want to use that for my yoga routine. An audiobook I can only listen to while working out and purposely choose books I'll get hooked on!

Exactly! I always make it a book I am dying to read or hear, lol, then it motivates me to want to go and I get rewarded. Also the bonus is that I am excited to be there so I can get back to my book that my workouts are always better.
@TheGenreMinx
I haven't gotten really far yet. I've been so busy. But I really want to continue because I really miss Kate and August

:D Well keep me in mind when you finish. I am curious to know your opinon.
@TheGenreMinx I finally finished Our Dark Duet two days ago. I'm crying. It's so bittersweet. We should talk about the ending
I'm currently reading Gilda Joyce: Psychic Investigator by Jennifer Allison and it's super cute!

oohhhh I love books that impact you emotionally!! Soo good. I gotta know more about this book :)

Not only that, but both books are ~ 2/3rds of the way through.
Hallelujah!
Concentrating on finishing off the ARC The Temptation of Adam as an ebook hopefully today (12 hour shift with no customers COME AT ME) and cruising through The Incident on the Bridge as an audio (mainly because I did not sleep enough for my 12 hour shift today).
I already have My Absolute Darling lined up next because I received it as a giveaway - I am trying super hard to get my reviews/ARCS/giveaways organised and done in decent timeframes.
I probably will leave netgallery until I'm a decent way through this next one to save getting sidetracked. Plus I already have Strange the Dreamer on hold (PLEASE turn up sometime soon), City of Bones BR coming up, and as always a tonne of library books with ever-nearer due dates (I use the renew option way too much).
And that is all for now

@Becca You go, girl! (There's books that have been on my CR shelf for years. I need to pick them up, but I don't feel reading those currently xD)
How is netgallery like? I've been thinking of signing up for a while but I always fear I might get overburdened.

I love using it to pick up graphic novels (although I had to get used to reading them digital) but I've found a lot of those are books that have already been released and are still up on netgallery.
