Sheila (sheilaj) Lots of fun as always. I have participated in both versions and certainly the 1 book/week version is a lot more relaxed until that final week. This is probably my favorite team challenge of many I have participated in. Thanks Jenne for providing this for our reading pleasure.

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Aww thanks! I love this one too, it really helps trim down the TBR!

Mandy Sickle (thereadingdiaries) | 1343 comments I enjoy SS challenges. I did the sss first one but not the last one. I kind of wish I had. I think they are both great they push me to read more books off my TBR.

I also really loved Words With Friends.

Your doing an amazing job running both and staying on top Jenne! Thank you so much for running these challenges.

~Melissa~ | 5253 comments I had a blast as always!! Thanks for taking the time to run this team challenge for us :D

message 7: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (laurenjberman) Fantastic round as always. This is a fun challenge and I agree that the 1 book per week is more relaxed.

I also want to add my support to Words with Friends :0)

V_Nerdbooks | 5307 comments I've got no idea what Words With Friends is but I want to play it too haha!

message 9: by Christina T (new)

Christina T (crysteena73) | 1040 comments I'm another one who isn't sure what Words With Friends is but I had fun knocking out a few books that I've been meaning to read forever. I know I'd never be able to commit to the SSS challenge because I'm lucky I read one book a week so two probably wouldn't work for me so this one was great. I've been actively doing 2 challenges (one in this group and one in another) and so far I've been successful. I love when I end up reading one book that worked for both challenges! I'm definitely going to sign up for the next SS challenge and I can't wait!

Christine (inhalesbookslikepopcorn) | 332 comments Lots of fun, thanks for hosting the challenge! I like the relaxed way in the SS challenge. I am the same as Christina having participated in another challenge with 1 book per week in another group. That's enough to knock out some of my books on the tbr stacks.

*Cough*, when starts the next round? Eager to go again :)

message 11: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Lol glad everyone is ready for the next round :)
I'll probably start it up in August.

message 12: by V_Nerdbooks (new)

V_Nerdbooks | 5307 comments I loved it.
It was my 1st game of SS but will definitely play again, although I don't have that many series books so mainly read the alternate books, so my TBR stayed still and I added extra ones to my read pile lol

And there is the biggest problem with the challenge. You end up adding more books than you read after reading your teammates reviews.

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Yeah it's deadly when you're teamies read the same genres lol.

message 15: by V_Nerdbooks (new)

V_Nerdbooks | 5307 comments Yes that is deadly I have added so many more to my TBR pile it's growing not shrinking!

V_Nerdbooks | 5307 comments Loving Lick so far Jenne thanks for the rec.

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments She has a zombie book too that I need to check out.

I was fortunate that most of my team read books that were not of the same genre I read. Although there were some overlaps but luckily I already owned or read those already.

Who has a zombie book? By the way Jenne I checked out your zombie shelf and ended up adding several I didn't know about! I even started my own zombie shelf but it's a work in progress. LOL

message 22: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Oh good! I have some good ones on there :)
This is the one I was talking about, I haven't read it yet Flesh (Flesh, #1) by Kylie Scott .

I'm kind of iffy with erotica but I added it to my amazon wishlist anyway (along with Lick). I just haven't read many erotic books that were worth while so I just don't read them as a rule. There has to be some good ones though so I try to be open for the most part. You two are not the first people I've heard discussing Lick. It seems to be well liked.

message 24: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments It rocked! And it's pretty tame erotica wise. I'm not a contemporary romance girl but the stage dive books are in a league of their own!
