Lisa - OwlBeSatReading (owlbesatreading) Hello fellow MC&T group members! I've been a member of this group for some time now and I'm looking for new GR friends to enhance my newsfeed. I'm after a more relevant feed to improve my never ending book hunt. I'm currently getting far too much YA which I am not a fan of and would love to see more crime/true crime and psychological thriller reads popping up! Check out my shelves/profile by all means and friend me if you think we have common interests! Looking forward to some new and exciting stuff! Happy reading folks! 👍😁📚

Hello, Lisa :) I love psychological thrillers, too, and would like to read more of them in the future or see new book suggestions in general. I checked your profile and think we have some common interests (I really like heavy metal part :D ).. so will add you as a friend then, if you agree :)

Gisela Hafezparast | 368 comments Hi Both,

I am a member of the Mysteries, Crime and Thriller Group as well as the Scandinavian and Nordic Mysteries and Thrillers Group and I really enjoy both groups. You will also NEVER be short of a crime, mystery or thriller book again. Why don't you join.

Hello, Gisela! Thank you very much for advice, I looked up and the profile picture is very beautiful :) And I joined the group, so see you :)

Gisela Hafezparast | 368 comments Brilliant both of you. Looking forward to your reviews and recommendations, although I currently have more than 900 books on my to-read list. However, a interesting review always gets bumped up the list.

Darlene | 3 comments I can always use new friends on ŷ, and I like to find new authors to add to my collection. I love all types of mysteries, from the gentle cozies and cat-related, to the darker thrillers. I would love to add you to my list of friends. See you around the wonderful world of bibliophiles! I am from Alberta, Canada, and would like to meet folks from all over the world, since I don't travel much.....books are my way to see places until the winning lottery ticket appears! ;)

Hi Darlene,

I live in Germany, moving from the UK in 2002. My début crime novel is available on amazon and I've had some really encouraging feedback - YAY! It's called Ultimate Principle by N.J.Burggraf if you'd like to read it. You can take a 'look inside' to check out the style and if its your 'cup of tea' :)

Happy reading!

Lisa - OwlBeSatReading (owlbesatreading) Denise wrote: "Hey Lisa,

I was noseying your profile. :D You really do like your gore. We both read The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. Looks like you enjoyed it more than I..."

hi denise! yep i'm a bit prone to reading blood and gore occasionally! i do like to chop and change my genre choices, just to keep things exciting! i can go from historical fiction to twisted and questionable and onto a kids book just to mix things up! i have been reading a fair bit of psycho-thrills and crime recently too. enjoy looking through my shelves, i hope they help you with your choices 😀

Hey authors, let's keep introductions with your book titles in the appropriate "Report for Duty" thread, if that's okay. I'd appreciate it! Otherwise, this discussion is going to turn into an author free for all. Here's the topic thread:

Thanks!!!

Wendy | 580 comments You want a Challenge? Go down to Group Challenges (almost all the way down the Group Page). Look for this group's US State Challenge and UN Challenge. Some of us created our own lists (like me) and are competing with ourselves. I had a blast reading a book based on each state.

message 18: by Thomas (new)

Thomas (tom471) | 1965 comments I am like Wendy and am also doing the U.S./UN challenge. I posted links to my reviews on many books.

message 19: by Wendy (new)

Wendy | 580 comments I too do reviews, but you would have to check out my name to read them. I do not know how to skillfully post my reviews like Thomas does.
