Hi Laura!! I did not understand that game at all - I couldn't figure out what the purpose of it was. :D It was still fun though - glad to be with you on another team!

Does anyone have any thoughts on a name? Also, anyone want to be captain?

BTW, I'm Sandy and I'm from the Los Angeles area. Divorced, no kids (3 dogs instead :D) and I'm off for the summer, so I've got plenty of time to read and do challenges. I read mostly romance, but I will read other genres for to fit a challenge task. I did the last SS, which was a lot of fun!

I am really bad at creating names so I whatever you guys want is fine with me. I shall pass on being captain, since I am headed out on a jet plane tomorrow and have never played this challenge.

I read this book because I fell in love with the series on Showtime. I was not disappointed! The book has all the wit and humor you could ask for and Dexter is Delicious!

Alright, so he's a monster. But he has his ethics! He only goes after really bad guys. But this time, he is being watched by Sgt Doakes. Sgt Doakes doesn't believe Dexter is what he says he is. Dexter can't believe that someone is critiquing his ability to act like a human being.

Dexter gets engaged (much to his disbelief) and learns about another "person" Doctor Danko who has a dark passenger like Dexter's. Along with his sister, Deborah, Nick an agent from DC, and Sgt. Doakes, they track down the doctor.

Along the way Dexter learns that his fiance Rita's boy may have a dark passenger of his own. Dexter the Dad! I love his memories of how his dad Harry Morgan put him along the avenging path. Now he wants to do that for Cody.

I really enjoyed this installment and look forward to reading more of Dexter's Daring Dalliances.

I have quite a few mixed feelings about this book. I know that it's a well loved series, particularly the second book, but through the first half of the book I wanted to put it down and pick something else. It's a beauty and the beast retelling, but without all the falling in love cuteness I expected from a beauty and the beast retelling. I didn't find the love story believable or compelling. This book felt like twilight on steroids with faeries instead of vampires. Although the main character is a thousand times more bad ass than Bella Swan, so that's something I guess. I gave it three stars because I thought it was okay, and I liked it enough that I'll probably continue with the series, but I don't have much hope for it.

Also, A BEAUTY WHO CAN'T READ?! That kick ass library was the best thing about the Disney movie.
