We have regular on ONTD and they are a great way of finding new books to read. It can be something recommended in the post itself, or a book that an ONTDer says they liked, or you can ask for more specific recs in the comments!

Hmmmm I need to find a book!

I keep trying to tackle my TBR shelf and my actual literal bookshelf but i keep finding new books to read lmao.

Does it have to be one that was technically recommended, or can it be one that someone said they were currently reading or had just read and enjoyed?

I'm going to do Fingersmith which was in a book post all the way

I think if someone says they read and enjoyed a book, that counts as a rec. Not sure if it counts if it's just a comment saying they're currently reading something. What do you guys think?

i'm planning to read Crazy Rich Asians since it was a pick for the other ONTD goodreads book club!

Hmm... Might go for Monstress, Vol. 1: Awakening but def going to need to peruse the book tag some more. I know I have some books on my tbr list from ontd, just can't remember which one's!

yeah, I think only books people have read and not currently reading should count

I really should have been keeping a list of books that piqued my interest in book posts...now I'm going back through those posts to find potential books lmao

Others I've seen recommended are You and The Fact of a Body, so those are next on my list.

I'm going with Juliet Takes a Breath.

I'll likely read We Are Never Meeting In Real Life by Samantha Irby, found it recommended in from July.

I'm considering The Miseducation of Cameron Post and Call Me by Your Name bc of all the movie buzz plus ONTD was where I first heard about these books haha. And then other ones I've heard super good things about like Night Film, The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room, the Greatest Bad Movie Ever Made and Han Kang's books. Oh and a whole bunch of F/F books I remember someone putting into a list! Seriously, ONTD has so many good recs omg

I had planned on reading Fitness Junkie and was so happy in mid-August to see my library had four copies available, but when I went to check it out there was a wait list and I'm #13 =( So I'm now looking for something else.

"You" is incredible. I highly recommend it.

I'm going to start with The Golden Compass since ONTD seems to mention it a lot, and work my way through hopefully a bunch more! You is on the list as are about 15 more from the last post! Excited for this and next month's challenge!

I read The Hate U Give and Alex, Approximately so far this month. They've been rec'd at least once. Loved them both. The first was well-written and a hard subject to get through so I'm glad I read the second one afterwards. It was so damn cute. Now I want more books like it. Haha.

I finished Crazy Rich Asians! it was awesome - very light and soapy, just what i needed.

I just finished Station Eleven last night. Looooooooved it. I now understand why I saw it recommended in practically every book post.

I read Cosmos by Carl Sagan - I don't remember if ONTD recommended it or just the world, but I really enjoyed it! Some of the information is a tad dated now, but his writing is beautiful and made me feel all the cosmic feels.

I read Seraphina, which was recommended in . It was, indeed, a cute book about dragons.

I read What We Lose by Zinzi Clemmons which was recommended by Joanie in a random post.

It blew me away.

I ended up reading Bitter Greens and Dragonfly in Amber. I enjoyed both! (Honestly cannot remember who mentioned them but I noticed Bitter Greens popped up a bit in the fairytale post recently.)

I'm squeezing in a last minute read, something that Kim recommended in a few posts, Doomsday Book by Connie Willis. Loving it!! It's so fast paced and the concept is so interesting.

Ended up going for Night Film, which I liked a lot and absolutely ripped through but also had some mixed feelings about? And The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room, the Greatest Bad Movie Ever Made which was incredible
