Thought that I would start a new thread about the various book prizes that are announced regularly

First up, the longlist for Wainwright Prize is announced today:

Thanks Paul for sharing those. I like it when I recognise some titles in these awards, makes them feel a bit more relevant.

As it happens, I collected Stay with Me from the library this very morning.

The Butchering Art: Joseph Lister's Quest to Transform the Grisly World of Victorian Medicine sounds like quite something, I am possibly too squeamish.
