Hi everyone and greetings from Italy, land of beauty and corruption, home to Leonardo and the mafia, where the media are not free and a lot of underground knowledge - or counterculture - is needed. I am a teacher and an author, my favorite genres are 'noir fiction' and true crime. So I am very glad to join this group. I have recently written my first book in English about Berlusconi's Italy to tell the incredible story of a gangster-Prime Minister who deceived a whole nation for 20 years. If you are interested in the shrinking of democracy in our world, I hope you'll have a look at it.

My book tries to give a picture of the our country through Berlusconi's unbelievable story. Many readers were shocked: that was my purpose. So if you find it shocking too, let me know. Ciao
