Tim Smith Hi, I'm Tim and I live in Northern Illinois. I've been reading mysteries and spy/espionage novels for almost fifty years. I got into thrillers when I first read The Hunt for Red October back in the 1980's. I've been addicted to thrillers ever since. I read almost all genres of books, but I find that I read a lot more mysteries and thrillers than the others. I started a new blog for that very reason a week ago that's just for mystery and thriller books, including the detective type books. You can view my blog at .

I read books by several authors, old and new, such as Arthur Conan Doyle, Arthur Conan Doyle, and Alistair MacLean just to name a few.

I look forward to interacting with people in this group and find out about more books to read.
