Hi,
I joined a month ago, after reading about this group in the Chicago Tribune Book Clubs section. Sounded interesting! I am an avid reader and was looking for a book club to join but I don't have a lot of free time. Originally from Ireland, I have lived in the far northwest suburbs of Chicago for the past 15 years. I like historical fiction, biographies, and any story with a beach in it! I teach Business English online and also computer applications Excel, WORD etc at my local community college.In my spare time, I also like to garden, knit, go hiking and I make knitting stitch markers from re-purposed beads from old necklaces and bracelets.
