Is Tilly dead/a ghost at the end? This seems to be implied but is rather vague.

I didn't think so. I just thought she got better ... but who knows!

She seems to have gone from (apparently) terminally I'll/and in a coma to out and about in a few days....and I can't see the emotional point of the hospital bit if she recovered. As you say, who knows?
