So, since we have the time, I'm throwing it open--who wants the cover and who wants the phrase? Or do you all want to be able to chose for yourselves?
The holidays are bearing down on us at the speed of a meteor, and frankly I'm feeling a bit like I have a big bullseye painted on me. (I don't know why this year is being so bad, unless it's that it's been 5 years since my Mum died, and the anniversary is getting to me. . .)

It’s been 18 years since my dad passed and I have found some years harder then others. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Thanks for all you do to challenge us.
Ok, we'll go with "your choice" on the 2 options.
It's also been 18 years since my Dad died (he died Dec. 29, 1999, which kind of wrecked Christmas for me for a few years.) And, well, for some reason, I'm really missing the 2 of them this year. If they were still alive, they'd be 90 years old. I know they had good, long lives, but still they are my parents. And I don't think you really ever get over that loss, at least, if you had a good relationship with them.

I think it would be fun to choose the one we want this month.
I will have to think about what challenge I want to tackle, or maybe, both?!?!

November challenge
Duration: 11/1/2017 - 11/30/2017
Progress: 3 out of 10
Ok, so it is only Oct. 11, but since there have already been inquiring minds asking what November's challenge is going to be, I thought I'd just go ahead and post it now.
Since November and December are both really busy months for most of us (I don't even want to THINK about my schedule for either month) I'm going easy on you all for this month. However, it WILL require you to post the cover of your book to the group as well as the title and author.
Ready????
I'm going to call this challenge A SALUTE TO COVER MODELS . (Plus, I've been looking at some really neat covers lately.) So, on with the challenge.

9. Kiss of a Demon King by Kresley Cole - - 11/8/2017 - 417 Pages
10. Grim Tuesday by Garth Nix - ** - 11/17/2017 - 336 Pages

So, post those covers, lets all drool over our favourite artists renderings of those fabulous paranormals out there.
P.S. I know this is very similar to the October one, but hey, I have lots of books that could be used in October, and this is a way to get more of them read. Plus, I'm feeling stressed already about the holiday season, and feeling somewhat fragile as a result, so, we are going for simple, simple, simple.
