I'm looking ahead to 2018 and wondering if I'll try to get through another 50 books again. I'd like to set the following goals this time: 10 novels, 10 non-fiction books, 10 collections of poetry, 10 short story anthologies, and 10 graphic novels. Is that something you'd like to join me on? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

That sounds like a very good, doable goal. I like that it includes both variety (fiction, NF, poetry, short stories and graphic novels), and flexibility (any title, any country, any year, any target age, any amount of popularity, etc).
I may steal this idea, but with a different ratio. :-)
