Charlie | 11 comments When Jacobs grandpa dies of a mysterious attack he takes it upon himself to find the reasons behind his death. This takes Jacob to an island on which he finds miss peregrine and her bunch of mysterious kids. These kids have strange abilities, such as the girl who floats or the invisible boy. Jacob heard a lot of stories from his grandfather about this place with peculiar people, but as Jacob explores more on the island he uncovers a bunch of secrets about his grandpas connection to this place, and he begins to become fond with miss peregrine and the mysterious kids.
I would highly recommend this book, it is good for me because there are more books in the series and I will be able to keep reading it. It was scary and a lot of action and a few times you kind of had to solve the mysteries on your own which I enjoyed. I would recommend this book for ages 13 and up, it gets a little complicated at times but it is always explained in some interesting way.
