#1. On the 10th of the month prior to the group read, the mod squad will decide on a genre and then each will nominate a book by an Australian author. A poll will be set up for everyone else to vote on which of these 3 choices they would like to read.
Voting will close on 20th and the successful title will be posted as the upcoming read for the following month, to give everyone the chance to locate the book of choice.
#2. As before, the second book will be a Moderator Choice only, and will be a new release (within the past 12 months) and this book will be posted the same time as the first.
Example:
August 10th - 3 books will be chosen for the September book of the month, and we will post the titles and a bit of a spiel about each one along with a link to the poll where you can choose which one you'd like to read.
August 20th - the poll will be closed and the winner will be announced in the thread along with the moderators choice.
September 1st - we start discussing September books - and begin the process to choose October's.
