I love a good mystery. Has anyone started reading the book yet? What do you think?

message 4: by Kate (new)

Kate I love this book. Kept me guessing the entire way. Make sure to read till the very very very end.

Sarah I’m sorry because this is a stupid question- but I mostly use the GoodReads app which is still wanting for many features. What is the group read? I haven’t been able to figure it out lol.

message 7: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Got it! Thanks. I’ll see if I can track down a copy.

Sylvia Walker | 20 comments This is the first Agatha Christie I've ever actually read. I've just seen the movies! I'm really enjoying it.

I have played a computer game a long while ago, with the same name, based on this book. But so far the book is much better.

Sylvia Walker | 20 comments I've finished it! It really is so much fun to read a solve-the-puzzle mystery, instead of the cozy mysteries I usually indulge in. Agatha Christie presents the readers with "types", more than fleshed-out characters, I think, in her plot-driven mysteries, but I enjoyed the challenge of trying to figure out what was going on, and who dunnit?

Awesome Sylvia! Did you guess the ending before the author told us? I am not quite there yet. I think I am have figure it out though, I think. :)

Cyn I'm actually choosing to not participate in this group read, I had just read this book last month (I just joined this group). But I want to say, this was my first novel by Agatha Christie and I absolutely loved it! I listened to the audiobook and it was great to listen to while I worked.

Our next group read will be an Indie author. Please feel free to nominate some books. We will be voting on one or two to read together in March!
