I was thinking something simple like, one I could do is, read a book I've been itching to read for a long time and just have not had time to start it. Anyone with me on this challenge?

Rules:
Any page limit and any author
You must read at least 2 books this year that fit this category

Kenny Hyman Challenge Accepted! I'm reading 'Black Hearts: One platoon's descent into madness', 'Order of Omega' by Kristen Martin (although I'm not super captivated by YA...I'm all about supporting fellow self-published authors), and 'The Age of Godpunk' by James Lovegrove.

Karen ⚜Mess⚜ This is a difficult challenge for me. There are several Epic Fantasy novels I would love to read, but the number of pages discourage me. I've learned if a book is 500-800 pages it tends to drag on (GOT *cough). I really don't want to commit myself to this type of challenge.

Keeping it simple, I choose:

Valkyrie Rising

Warprize (a recommendation I saw from Ilona/Gordon Andrews)

Both of these books look great to me. Good luck and I hope you like them.

Play eenie-meenie-minie-moe on your bookshelf. Done! Or, choose that book you have partially read. Again, done! Great challenge! I'm glad you placed it.

Well, I decided on Firespell (Dark Elite, #1) by Chloe Neill because I added this to my kindle in 2010. It has been waiting a while for me to read it. I will pick book 2 for this challenge a little later.

It turns out I have this book before so I will pick a different book. I keep track of what I read so I can either reread my favorites or pick something else. In this case I want to read something that has been waiting for me to read I have NOT yet read. :)

Kenny Hyman Black Hearts One Platoon's Descent Into Madness in Iraq's Triangle of Death by Jim Frederick The narrative is sobering but amazing. A must read cautionary tale. Halfway through in three days.
