Did anyone watch AMC's The Terror last night?

I surely want to see it. In January during my "At the Mountains of Madness" period, I read about 2/3 and listened extensively on audio. I also bought .

(I watched the first hour which aired after TWD on Sunday night, so that I could watch the finale of The Alienist last night and then the second hour of The Terror at 10.)

Yeah, I thought it was really well done. Exceptional acting and set. It looks like they didn't get cheap in the design or special effects.

Agreed. It looked like I expect a movie would look. The acting is exceptional-I agree with that too. I'm having a little trouble keeping the secondary people straight, other than the medic, but I'm hoping that will clear up as the series continues.

What a coincidence! I JUST came across The Terror & am currently watching the 1st episode! Am I wrong, or wasn't this a book? I could swear that I read A BOOK ABOUT THIS PLOT.

Not yet, but I'm really looking forward to it. We're going to let the season finish and then watch it.

It looks great, my only issue with the trailer was that it looked too light, too white. But the book was very dark, and that wouldn't really translate well onto the screen.

I spied a few actors from Game of Thrones so I'm expecting it to be great!

I'm all the episodes behind but I'm looking forward to binging it soon.

I've been captivated on this story and have read two books on it so far- very interesting!
