START-UPS

One of my favorite recent start-up stories is a pitch to Sharktank called DoorBot. It was turned down by Cuban, John, etc. I think it was mainly because he wanted a large investment and wasn't willing to give up much equity.
There is a video of the pitch , but it doesn't show the negotiation (I wish ABC would put more Sharktank content online).
DoorBot was rebranded as Ring and became pretty successful.
3 weeks ago Amazon bought it for $1 billion.

Some examples of entrepreneurs who invest in start-ups are Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, Kevin O'Leary, Richard Branson.
Some of the more successful startups have been Dropbox, Uber, Airbnb, Pinterest, SpaceX, WeWork, Snap, Palantir, Xiaomi.
