26 - If you wrote yourself in a novel, what kind of character would you be?

Me? I'm the mom. Hopefully the cool mom, but more likely the nerdy, over enthusiastic but understanding mom :)

Autistic, messed-up, magic. :D

It depends on which me we're talking about, and which genre.

Fantasy or Sci-fi: I am Prince A'Rezain (a personae I invented as a teen as a coping mechanism), noble but isolated from his family, with his brand in hand, he leads a band of outcast teenagers.

Everything else, I'm just Curtis; an old soul who refuses to grow up, but is always there for heartfelt advice.

Hyper-empathetic With ASD; throw in completey confused because He wants to be Bi but everything is telling him he’s gotta be Gay or Straight�. He’s desperate to explore feelings and desires but doesn’t want to be creepy- and the hyper-means hee doesn’t know what to do

Probably the boy / man next door that the main character notices when it's almost too late. :-)

All these books need to get written... <3

I would want to be that overconfident fan favorite side character or the unnecessarily hit villain

The anxious, gay, introverted guy who watches it all unfold in the distance. It pretty much depends on the book I'm reading, but that would be the core of the character haha.
I always imagine how everything would play out at the end of the book for that character, or how the characters would end up being introduced once it's all over.

Something of me usually is in my novels and novellas, both the good and the bad. My villains and antagonists can be cautionary tales for myself. (wry grin)

The friend who is supportive but sighs a lot over how dumb everyone is being. Here with snacks and bad advice.

Honestly? Annoying side character whose jokes mostly land flat.

Probably that gay best friend that gets forgotten about in the middle of the book but comes through in the end.

I don't think I'd want to be the main character. I'd probably be that one side character who is always calm and collected in the midst of the protagonists' dramas. I'd like to be the readers' comfort character where they can be all like "that's me" whenever I show up.

The MCs are usually in for a lot more suffering, stress and toil than I would opt for if I had the choice!

From this test I got Charlie from The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which I am only reading right now and even though I am waaaay older than him, I can see the connection of 'wow people are being nice to me maybe I actually have friends the world is awesome' kind of feeling. When other people did it for me I got Pam from The Office.
