Oh let me know how that is. It is on a bucketlist to read but not to sure. Would like to hear someones opinion on it first. It is what made my mind up with Fahrenhiet 451 and The Handmaid's Tale as I heard many good things.

Fahrenheit 451
and
The Handmaids Tale"
Both wonderful. I hope you'll enjoy them.

I'll probably re-read The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka, which I've already read 3 or 4 times I think, lol! But I had already planned on re-reading it this year, so good timing, I guess.
I'm sure many more of the books I'll be reading will prove to be shelved as literature.

Looks like there are some great books on the shelf, so pick away and let us know what your plan is!"
I'm not sure, but there is most likely something already on my list--I've read 36/50 on that first page and I don't like or read Russian Lit.
ETA Probably The Rime of the Ancient Mariner which is on there and I have the audiobook on hold at the library. Another audiobook I have on hold that's on there is Little Fires Everywhere

Got a friend mailing me The Handmaid's Tale as i am unsure. had 2 salesman say they did not like it

I liked The Handmaid's Tale and I usually can't stand anything by Atwood, but I liked it when it it was only a few years old and am not sure that I'd like it now. I hated much of her premise, though, and a few things about it, but overall I liked the Handmaid herself.
But Fahrenheit 451 has stood the test of time for me; I liked it when I read it as a teen and again when I read it about 7 or 8 years ago.
A friend just recommended Somerset Maugham's The Razor's Edge to me, so I'll start with that. But first I have to hurry up and get started on my June book. :)

I loved both, Bea. I hope you'll enjoy them.

That said, when I read the history I am also gonna be reading Sherlock Holmes

I love this book, Tyra. Admittedly, I love everything by Kafka. I hope you'll like it.
