The King in the North! Daenerys has dragons now! Arya is on the run! What a great cliffhanger ending to the first book in the series. I'm glad we don't have to wait years to read what happens next.

I was so heartbroken when Ned died! I actually hadn't thought he would be killed, not when he declared Joffrey the rightful heir to the throne. That was just so sad, and especially because his daughters watched it!

Dany became cool! She's been annoying me through the whole book, and I always found her extremely pathetic, but I think she'll get tougher and more awesome now.
Then again, if I suddenly had dragons, I would become pretty awesome too.

Albany - Are you gonna continue the series? I'm in book 2 now, and it's really decent!

I agree that Ned's death was shocking and Daenerys as a character really grows up thanks to the circumstances that surround her. She loses everyone she loves in a very short period of time and that changes her deeply. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series and then catching up on the TV show!

Yeah, Dany is one of my faveroites now, her and Arya and Tyrion. I hope Joffrey will get murdered brutally!

Daenerys was my favourite and I absolutely loved the ending. Arya and Jon would have to be my other favourites ... Definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

I hated Dany throughout book 1; she was so pathetic. But now, in book 2, she's awesome! I sort of hope she wins the crown along with Robb, so they can divide the kingdom and be King in the North and Queen in the South or something like that, and then live in peace.

Tyrion would be my favorite. I simply love his wits and wisdom! I'm hoping to hear more of Shae. (Though I hope that the entire Lannister family dies with Tyrion as the only survivor.)

Arya is really cool too! I'm afraid she'll die, because she's too loved, just like her father, but yeah, I really hope not. I hope she'll find Nymeria again and come back home to her brothers.

I hope Sansa strangles Joffrey to death! Though I doubt it. xD
