.Seven: July is the 7th month of the year. Read a book that symbolizes the number seven in some way: the book is the seventh in the series, there are seven letters in the title or author's name, it's the seventh book published by the author, or even seven is in the title of the book. It's up to you.
.Some Like it Hot!: To celebrate the record breaking temperatures that are common in the Northern Hemisphere in July, read a book that is hot! It can have a lot of steamy love scenes, it could be by a hot new author, it could be a highly rated series, or the season in the book or setting features hot weather. Another alternative is fire or heat theme on the cover or in the title, or a prominent character's name.

.Anti-Boredom: July is Anti-Boredom Month. So your task to read a book that fights boredom. It has to be exciting, unputdownable, or a book that kept you on the edge of your seat while you read it.
.Independence Day: In the United States, the 4th of July is the day to celebrate the Declaration of Independence in which America declared its freedom from Britain. Read a book that symbolizes someone declaring their freedom from a situation or person.
.In the All-Together: The 2nd week of July is Nude Recreation Week. For this racy observation, read a book in which characters indulge in their own "nude recreation."
.Forget Me Not: July 2nd is I Forgot Day. This day is set aside for people to make amends for forgetting something. You could read a book that features someone doing exactly that, or a book where a character forgets something or has amnesia.

.Disobedience: July 3rd is Disobedience Day. Disobedience can be about a lot more than just rebellion. It can be used as a form a protest against an unjust system. Read a book where a character uses their disobedience in a way to effect something powerful and meaningful.
.Embrace Your Geekiness: July 13th is Embrace Your Geekness Day. Read a book that reflects an aspect of your own geekiness or about characters who are geeky.
.Dorks Need Love Too!: July 15th is Be a Dork Day. Dorks are described as awkward, clumsy, goofy, socially inept, or odd. Read a book where a dork finds love, preferably by someone who loves them for who they are.

.We All Scream For Ice Cream!: National Ice Cream Day is the third Sunday of the month. Enjoy and embrace this delicious, cold treat in real life, but also celebrate it through your reading this month. You could read a book that reminds you of an ice cream flavor, or if you can find a book that has ice cream on the cover. Perhaps a character in the book loves ice cream. Be creative.
.Hammock DayHammocks represent leisure and relaxation. You can count any book you read on July 22nd, because you took time to relax and enjoy reading on that day.
.Take Your Pick: Choose one of the following holidays to use for this part of your challenge: Culinarians Day, Ugly Truck Day, All or Nothing Day, National Day of the Cowboy, Chocolate Day, Video Games Day, Pandemonium Day.
