R I actually already finished my 2018 challenge for the year, which was to read 170 books. I won't go over all of those but I will continue with all that I am reading from this point on for the year!

R 1) A Single Man By Christopher Isherwood
- I quite enjoyed this book. There was a rawness about grief and moving on process after.
4 stars!

R 2) The Plague by Albert Camus
- I found this book intriguing. There was a lot of depth shown in all the different ways the town was affected over time.

Wow you've already read 170 books?! How come you're not upping your challenge then? To like 300! lol. What was your favorite and least favorite read of the 170?

How do you read 170 books in less than 7 months? From the books you have listed, it appears that you are not just reading easily read books either. I can read about one book a week. Sometimes I need to take a bit of time after I finish something powerful to think. Do you have to begin your next book right away to keep up this pace? How many hours a day do you read? I hope you don't mind all these questions, but you amaze me.

I don't mind the questions! Thank you for asking!!
I do a combination of audio and actual books. That combination works for me as then I can be reading while driving or riding transit or even while grocery shopping.
I work night shifts, which gives me time to read and or listen when I am too tired to read! I also very rarely watch TV or movies, also freeing up more time.
I also have a friend that reads as well and we kinda compete... friendly competition which helps keeps me motivated and moving forward... especially if I am not so enjoying a story.
I am easily reading/listening a minimum of 3 hours a day. Some days a lot more.
I was surprised too that I could get through so many, I have always read but this year I have dedicated a lot more time to it!

Rachel, I also watch minimal tv for the past couple of years. It is amazing how much reading you can get done when not watching tv. I do watch a lot of YouTube but usually only after getting in a good amount of reading/listening to books.
