Terris | 4237 comments Nice list, Julie! I have read several of yours but still quite a few I could add to my list. I wanted to tell you that I just finished "The Stone Diaries" and really liked it! Enjoy -- this book & your whole challenge :)

Julie | 592 comments Thank you Terris. I've been wanting to read The Stone Diaries for years. The way to make sure I finally do, is to put it on a challenge

Wow, you have a lot of books I haven't read. I'll be looking forward to seeing which ones you think are great.

You have selected another nice set of books. I have read Robinson Crusoe, Castle of Otranto, and Night. I enjoyed all three. I have The Hotel New Hampshire and American Gods on my home shelf, I think both will be good reads, so many books never enough time.

Julie | 592 comments I read The Hotel New Hampshire from my moms bookshelf when I was a teenager. I bought it for my own bookshelf years ago meaning to reread it, so now I put it on this challenge to make sure I finally do.

I love John Irving's books! I'm going to have to add The Hotel New Hampshire to by TBR list :)

I've had a few of Rutherford's series on my radar for a few years now, looking forward to your review of London!

Ahh, and .... The Hotel New Hampshire, had to tbr it. Sounds great :D

Julie | 592 comments Well - looks like I didn't update this thread all year ;)

I've done quite well - just one book to go and I will have finished them all-
I requested The Edible Woman as an audio book from the library (CD's) - don't know when I'll actually get it so I might not finish that one before the end of the year...

Laurie | 1884 comments Congrats, Julie. Since you read all but one alternate, you completed the challenge even if you don't read the last book. I hope you enjoyed your choices.

I really did enjoy all but the Mary Wollstonecraft text. That was hard to get through xD
