So I'm planning on doing both the challenges above, AND I'm also going to try my Kindle challenge again. Just because it was helpful in making me read some of my Kindle books!

Yay Ashley!
I kind of do the same thing for all my challenges. I shoot for it all, but I'm okay if I come up short as well!

Jenny, I'm going to try the Kindle challenge as well. I like your idea of getting through some of the many ebooks I have!
Michele wrote: "I like the idea of adding an author challenge, it can help with duplicate title letters. But I'll try the challenge again and possible do both, not sure yet, I'll see as I go."
YAY! All we can do is try :)

Good thing I signed up for another A-Z challenge in a different group. I’m putting the dups there.

Nancy wrote: "I just looked at my list of books planned for January and there are three C’s. Seriously. What’s up with that? It’s too early for dups."
Maybe you can use them for the author challenge then ;)

I'm giving you guys the options of 2 different challenges this year! And those ambitious readers can do both if they want!
Challenge #1-- Titles
Read 26 books which titles begin with the letters of the alphabet.
Examples:
O - Opal
T - The Sun Dwellers or
S - The Sun Dwellers
For the letter "X or Z ", any book title with the letter X or Z in it is acceptable.
If the title contains the word THE or A it can be omitted if you want.
Challenge #2--Authors
For this challenge, you will be using the Author's name of the book for your alphabet! You can use either their first or last name. Their name must start with that letter.
Examples:
P Patrick Ness
N Patrick Ness
The exceptions are Q,X, and V. There just aren't that many writers' names that start with those letters, so those letters can be anywhere in an authors name (including initials, middle name, etc.)
If the author writes under a pseudonym, you can use either that or their real name.
You can sign up anytime, and you can backdate books if you know when you finished it, as long as it was done in the year 2019.
ANY BOOK IS ACCEPTABLE, including graphic novels, novellas, etc.
