James Morcan | 11376 comments “I heard you had reports this morning of an unidentified aircraft. Don’t worry it was just me. George W. Bush speaking to the Military Academy in Roswell, New Mexico, January 22, 2004

There’s no denying the Roswell event unearthed some convincing evidence and very credible eye witnesses, and there have been innumerable reported UFO sightings from around the world since that incident.

A likely explanation for those sightings in and around Area 51 air space in particular is that they are in fact man-made machines such as the once-secret U-2 spy plane primarily originating in the Cold War in which America was a willing participant.

Since the U-2’s development and subsequent unveiling, the public have become familiar with other cutting-edge aviation developments such as the Stealth Bomber.

But what else out there is manmade?

Rumors of government-sponsored craft capable of traveling at unearthly speeds and resembling flying saucers have been around since World War Two. That includes the legendary Nazi foo fighter flying saucers, which scores of Allied pilots reported witnessing in-flight.

Given the many thousands of UFO reports logged around the world every year, such rumors shouldn’t be dismissed too lightly. Certainly, manmade craft would be a more logical explanation for UFO sightings than alien craft. Not because it’s unlikely there’s life beyond our planet. Rather, because it could be argued it’s unlikely other beings have discovered our little corner of the universe just yet.

This thinking suggests the odds of the Earth being discovered are astronomical given the size of our universe. It’s a rather large 28 billion light-years in diameter, according to scientists, although that doesn’t take into account the universe’s expansion since this book underwent its final proofing.

Furthermore, if there’s one thing our research has taught us, it is that it’s naïve to believe the latest technology in the public domain is truly the latest. There are numerous examples of products or technology being introduced as new, or cutting-edge, whereas they had already been secretly used for years in many cases by the military or by certain government agencies, or both. The Internet was one such case, first being used for a number of years by the military before eventually being released to the public.

If we can accept that, we should be able to accept that there are new technologies, both in development and in existence right now, the average person couldn’t even begin to imagine.

As stated above, back in 1956, top aerospace companies including the Lear Corporation were working on anti-gravity technology. As shown in the article on the left, researcher Dan Davidson, gave a lecture at the 2012 Extraordinary Technology Conference and mentioned the research and development done by Michigan aviation pioneer William Lear, founder of Lear Corporation. The diagram on the left shows the Wilson and Lear Antigravity Lifter and according to Dan, the test Lifter built by Lear actually levitated off the ground. Dan's DVD is available here.

William Lear stated during press conferences on February 2, 1955 in Bogotá, Colombia, and February 10, 1955 in Grand Rapids, Michigan that one of his reasons for believing in flying saucers was the existence of American research efforts into antigravity -- Dolan, Richard. Joseph Shellim (shhhhstudios) | 156 comments There has not been life imprints in the known universe for some 14 Billion years. The unknown is more like the known than not so. It has to be a sobering thought.

My pondering of this issue concluded in bigger pondering:

1. Once there was no life on Earth.
2. Then life happened.
3. Conclusion: the life emerged from outside Earth, because it was absent here for billions of years.
4. The same equation would apply to all sectors of the universe, if life was ever found elsewhere.

Life is unlike anything else - we have not been able to break down what life is. We have no math formula, like which gases + which quarks = life, or what does it look like in an image. From earth, we know that life can be subsisting yet not alive, that it takes a perpetuating cyclical sustainable source to ignite life, like the sun and rain cycle. Its like a car, which will not move even when completed - it needs fuel, a road and someone to ignite it with a key.

This is a pivotal entry and requires some thought - it does not appear in ToE:
5 No shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet sprung up; for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground;6 but there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

Is the rain cycle an example of life requiring an ignition factor? If so, it has to be programmed that way - just as a car is. Both are created entities by a program. And such needs a programmer too.

James Morcan | 11376 comments Could This Capsule Explain the Rendlesham UFO Incident?

A UFO researcher in the UK has put forward an intriguing theory to explain the infamous incident in Rendlesham Forest which has come to be known as 'Britain's Roswell.'

The now-legendary case, which purportedly spanned three nights in December of 1980, has baffled students of the phenomenon for nearly four decades.

Much like many prominent UFO events, the Rendlesham Forest Incident has spawned numerous books, TV specials, and other features detailing the case as well as a myriad of interpersonal conflicts among researchers and witnesses.

The subject of considerable debate and investigation, the notorious event has remained unexplained to this day, but a UFO researcher in the UK believes he may have solved the mystery.

Presenting his findings at a conference over the weekend, Russ Callaghan argued that the purported 'alien' craft seen in the forests of England was, in fact, of terrestrial origin.

The basis of his argument is that the 'UFO' came from the United States Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron which was stationed at the nearby air base at the time.

This particular group was tasked with recovering film from spy satellites which was dropped to the Earth in a capsule and, in preparation for such a mission, the ARRS members practiced using a similarly-shaped prop known as a 'boilerplate.'

Although the presence of the ARRS at the air force base during the incident has been known by UFO researchers for quite some time, the theory that they were inadvertently behind the event had been largely dismissed since there had previously been no indication of any specific connection.

However, Callaghan claims to have found a new nugget of information that could establish that the ARRS did, indeed, have a hand in the Rendlesham Forest event.

According to his research, on the night in question, an ARRS-enlisted helicopter was en route to drop off the test capsule for a training mission, but ran into difficulties and ditched the prop ... in Rendlesham forest.

A subsequent recovery of the test capsule would seemingly account for the second round of strange lights in the sky.

Should Callaghan's be correct, the 'UFO' at the center of the legendary incident eventually made its way back to the United States where it is housed at the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum (and can be seen above).

Callaghan contends that the vaguely triangular shape of the capsule accounts for the witness descriptions of the 'UFO' as well as the fact that it apparently sat on three legs.

Additionally, he argues that the ARRS would not have been required to debrief the commanding officer at the air force base during the incident, which would explain why the event was shrouded in mystery.

As one might expect, the researchers theory has been met with some skepticism from UFO enthusiasts who say that the ARRS theory cannot account for other details surrounding the case such as the speed with which the craft allegedly departed the scene.

Nonetheless, should Callaghan be able to produce documentation to prove that the ARRS helicopter incident took place at the time of the 'UFO crash,' one would certainly have to take a second look at the event in light of this new information.

James Morcan | 11376 comments Project 1794

In late 2012, the U.S. Air Force declassified a trove of documents, including records of a secret program to build a flying saucer-type aircraft designed to shoot down Soviet bombers. The ambitious program, called Project 1794, was initiated in the 1950s, and a team of engineers was tasked with building a disc-shape vehicle capable of traveling at supersonic speeds at high altitudes.

The declassified documents reveal plans for the plane to reach a top speed of Mach 4 (four times the speed of sound), and reach an altitude of 100,000 feet (30,480 meters). The project's estimated cost was more than $3 million, which in today's dollars would be more than $26 million.

Project 1794 was canceled in December 1961 after tests suggested the flying saucer design was aerodynamically unstable and would likely be uncontrollable at high speeds (let alone supersonic speeds).

Ian Miller | 1422 comments I would have thought the aerodynamics would have been the least of the saucer's problems. The real problem (assuming the saucer was symmetrical) would be the power source, because that introduces the asymmetry.

Ian Miller | 1422 comments The interesting thing about Die Glock is that it seems to have been based conceptually on a theory of "antigravity" by a German physicist (Heim) who claimed to have had success, but nobody ever saw it. It may well have been a fraud that took in the Nazis. Himmler was particularly susceptible to the supernatural.

James Morcan | 11376 comments THAT STRANGE NAVY UFO PATENT
It seems the US Navy was awarded a patent in 2016 for ... well... a triangular field propulsion UFO. Here's the article, and the actual patent:

The US Navy secretly designed a super-fast futuristic aircraft resembling a UFO, documents reveal Read more:

Patent: Craft using an inertial mass reduction device

Now there are a few things here that, as the reader might imagine, have my high octane speculation motor working in overdrive mode, and also that have my suspicion meter deeply into the red zone. So let's deal with the high octane speculation part first.

The article itself and its accompanying diagrams from the patent are what set both the high octane speculation and the suspicion meter into motion:

‘It is possible to reduce the inertial mass and hence the gravitational mass, of a system/object in motion, by an abrupt perturbation of the non-linear background of local spacetime, the patent says. The craft described in the patent features a cavity wall filled with gas, which is then made to vibrate using powerful electromagnetic waves. This then creates a vacuum around the craft, allowing it to propel itself at high speeds. The UFO-style ship can be used in water, air or even space. ‘It is possible to envision a hybrid aerospace/undersea craft (HAUC), which due to the physical mechanisms enabled with the inertial mass reduction device, can function as a submersible craft capable of extreme underwater speeds and enhanced stealth capabilities, the patent continues. ‘This hybrid craft would move with great ease through the air/space/water mediums, by being enclosed in a vacuum plasma bubble/sheath.

I need time to read the patent, but my first thought is that inertial mass is a scalar and hence cannot be affected by vibrating molecules. My second thought is that if this works, why is the Navy publishing it? Surely it would be kept secret? Therefore my guess is it doesn’t work.
