Linda R, I am a quarter of the way into The Neighbor The Neighbor (Detective D.D. Warren, #3) by Lisa Gardner by Lisa Gardner. Good mystery. I enjoy the unraveling of character and the revealing of backstory. The neighbor is a registered sex offender, so when a young mother goes missing he is a automatic suspect. The harassment he goes through being an innocent bystander is eye opening. How long does one pay for a crime after prison? The rest of your life you are suspect in every new crime committed in your neighborhood? Meanwhile, while they are investigating the neighbor, where is the missing young mom?
