"My father-in-law is trying to remember the title of the book about the bible called: "The ------ Papers." Any ideas? He has some early dementia so this book may not exist or it may and it would calm his brain to fill in the blank! Thanks."

Was it fiction or non-fiction? There is also The Screwtape Letters -- a close but not exact match but it was/is a pretty well-known book.
