Kassandra | -1 comments Vampires, werewolves and ghouls, oh my! October brings many spooky things and we’re going to read all about them for an entire week.

Following the wild success of our first readathon, we’re going to have another readathon to celebrate all things spooky, slimy, gory and creepy. From 12:01 a.m. on October 24th until midnight of October 31st we will be hosting our Halloween readathon!

How you measure your progress for the week is up to you. You can count the number of books read, pages or total reading time - as long as you’re reading, it counts!

Multiple threads have been set up to give everyone a chance to discuss what they are going to read and anything else that may come up during the readathon. There is a general discussion thread and a what are you planning to read thread. Pop in and post your comments and follow along with what everyone else is doing.

Since we have such a large group spread all over the world, each member will begin and end the challenge when his or her personal clocks hit the magic hour of midnight!

There is no set requirement on how much time you need to dedicate to this challenge in order to participate. The important thing is to read as much as you can and to have fun reading.

Becca Tyler (scrappybec) | 296 comments Does "midnight of October 31st" mean "midnight that begins the 31st" or "midnight that ends the 31st"?
