Yay I'm hoping so. It's outside of my usual genre, but I've heard people speak highly of it so I decided to give it a go!

Afsana wrote: "I have got flashforward but yet to read it Let me know what you think"

Will probably read it over the weekend on my trip to London, so I'll give you my opinion on it next week. Have you been watching the TV series? I'm hoping reading the book won't spoil the show for me; I think it's only quite loosely based on the book but not sure.

DJ (djdivaofjava) | 659 comments I haven't read the book yet in case it spoils th series but I have been led to believe that it is quite different in a lot of ways......
Have a safe trip and wish you a great read!

Well in the ul it only recently I thinkcome out and I missed a first few so wanted to wait and watch all. Managed to catch a watch the first couple of episodes but as can not get all waiting on all f them to be available

message 257: by Matthew (new)

Matthew Tole (matthewtole) OK I was weak, and read FlashForward today instead of waiting until tomorrow, but I'm glad I did. The TV show is only very loosely based on the book, there's only one character in both and he's not really the same. It's a very good book, pretty heavy on the physics and IMO a better story than the on in the show, although I understand why they changed what they did.

DJ, Jo, and Afsana: I would definitely recommend you read it, and don't worry about it ruining the show. :)

Yep, I agree with Shelli. It's hard to put it into a specific genre. You should check it out for yourself, though. It's a great book! :)
