Looking for a buddy read?

Open a new topic asking for one!

- Topic title should include the book title and the date to begin the buddy read if you have one.

- Description should mention your availability to start reading, how fast you usually read, if you are looking for more buddy readers, and any other information you may deem important.

You can then use the topic to discuss the book with your buddy/buddies as you read!

I figured it would be a good idea to feature the books in active buddy read challenges in our bookshelf 'currently reading'.

So when everyone is done reading it, please post in the book topic here on Buddy Reads forum! Thank you!

I've never done one of those. How do I team up, with who? What am I doing?

Hi Richard! I am currently doing my first buddy read myself, so am also very new to this.

Just try to follow the guidelines in this post - open a topic in this discussion folder and make sure the title contains the book name and an estimate time for beginning the buddy read. Include whatever information you deem important in the topic itself and wait for someone to say they want to do the buddy read with you!

You can browse through the existing buddy reads, see if anything interests you and reply to the topic saying you want in. You can also check the Monthly Reads folder and see what members intend to read this month - maybe you'll find something in common and you can set up the buddy read.
