Etienne Hanratty | 4 comments It's the book they're already calling, "Far From a Turd," but, after a promising start, the campaign has stalled. What I'm looking for is a group of discerning readers to download the book on Kindle, read and review in the hope of getting things moving and I'm happy to reciprocate.

I've put a synopsis below but essentially the book is a gently surreal comic crime novel. I'm happy to read and comment on almost anything but I should warn you, I have no frame of reference for fantasy, sci-fi, chick lit or (alas) erotica.

Anyone interested can follow the link:-

"The Wire. Meets Finding Nemo. Again.

At twenty-seven, Marley Tiffin is looking for a way out of the organised crime racket. He's getting too old to poison fish for a living and his arteries won't take much more of his psychopathic boss's home baking. He wants a nice, quiet job in a garden centre where he can work through his Morrissey fixation in peace. And, with the police closing in, he needs to get out fast. When DS Stuart Clatterbridge offers him Witness Protection in exchange for giving up his boss, Marley thinks his chance has come. The trouble is, he's about to turn more than Queen's evidence...

Set in the hinterland between South Manchester and North Wales and starring a cast of predatory herons, tactiturn shubunkin and mutant policemen, Don't Carp, Marley Tiffin is a tale of fish, fandom and the effects of subsisting on a diet of toadspawn."

Go on, you know you want to.

Amanda M. Lyons (amandamlyons) If I may offer some advice: Reviews will help, but I also think it would be good to make sure there's a cover picture here on GR, an author bio on your profile, and a cover that suits your story a bit better. These days being visible and putting out a strong image are the key to solid sales.

Ju Ephraime (juephraime) | 186 comments Here are too of my books, you decide. So far as I'm concerned, I read all books, some genres I like more than others, but I'm more concerned with errors and poor editing than the genre:

Rhapsody is the last book in a series, but it can be read as a stand alone. They are both the same price of your book, so it's an even swap.

I have read the first samples of the first two chapters of your book "Married In Name" on Amazon and I must say I liked it quite a bit. I will be following up with a review on both Amazon and Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ for you. Hey, will you do the same for me and give me an honest and thorough review on my book too? It's a nonfiction memoir written in poetry called "Corridors of My Mind" with several genres, subgenres, etc. mixed in. Here's the direct link:

Iryna Andriyevska (iryna_andriyevska) | 54 comments Hello Book Fans,

Here is my book:

It's a story of love, family, tragedy full of philosophy and emotions. I promise this is something totally new. You've never read anything like this.

I understand, that it is not that easy to buy a book almost without any reviews. So, if you want to read it, just mail me at [email protected] and I will send you a free sample.

I would really appreciate any reviews left here and on Amazon.

Hope to be heard.

Thanks,
Iryna

Josephine Calabrese (goodreadscomj_calabrese) | 41 comments If you're willing to read my three short humorous fiction books:
Confessor Joe 99 cents, Confessor Joe Book Two 99 cents, and
Confessor Joe Book Three $1.99 and leave a review on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ and Amazon.com, I'll do the same for your book entitled
A Way to Escape, which is selling for $2.99. When you purchase my first book, I'll purchase yours. You'll probably finish my three short books before I finish yours but I'll leave a review when completed.
