Booo!! Happy Halloween everyone! I wore a green wig to work today and tonight when I took my daughter out I wore a witch's hat. She was dressed up as a vampire ( haha minus the teeth--they were bugging her) She is going through the loot now!!

My halloween party plans were cancelled so I didn't dress up this year, but I always pick a pun. Last year I was a "Ceiling Fan" (Cheerleader outfit with go ceilings! on it). This year's plan was supposed to be "All eyes on you." I was going to cut a big giant U out of cardboard and then glue a bazillion googly eyes on it :)

I normally only have two books on the go. One e-book and one audio. I like to finished the book I'm reading before moving into a new one.

At the moment however I'm currently reading The Lies of Locke Lamora, The Silmarillion and Covet. I'm also listening to Rock Chick.

It's a bit strange reading a bit of each book and not reading all the way through. I suppose I'll get use to it.

Danielle...you will get used to it, I usually try not to take on more than three at a time but I always seem to lol! It does help to know that a lot of other readers do the same thing :)

Countdown to beginning of Tower Team III challenge

Yes, it is getting closer! I am scurrying to get it together, a list of all my buddy reads and trying not to get involved in other challenges. lol....I am wishing myself luck with that one. oh my, this is my first time with a Tower Teams challenge and I am excited!

Yep, coming up fast now to start. I've got my list of buddy reads and I'm trying to make list of books I need to read by 17 Nov for another challenge. I didn't get hardly any reading done yesterday as I had a headache. So I'm a little behind in my reading, but I'll soon be right on track.

Danielle....sorry to hear about your headache which I often have a problem with myself. Listening to audio books is what I do when I can't read, it helps with passing the time being in pain and getting the reading done. :)

The tower teams haven't started yet and I'm already behind on my buddy reads. Why does this happen to me? lol

I had six requests on my Overdrive library that came in within two days. I don't have enough room on my ipod to fit them all in.

It's crazy. All these books came up for buddy reads and you join them, but then you have to actually fit them in.

Now I wish joining buddy reads wasn't quite so easy.
I let myself get carried away and now I have to scramble to find all of these books and start them :).

About reading multiple books at one time, my father (who is 84) says that when he has to keep track of multiple story lines at one time, it keeps his brain sharper.

I usually only do one audiobook at a time, and right now I have 3 from the library. And one is a buddy read. So I am listening at work, so I can get through them all...:D

I am actually starting to miss my extra books, I only have 1 audiobook, 1 dead tree book and 2 audiobooks in progress.
