Too many questions and suspicions for now. Need to continue reading....

I'm terrible for that. I have read The Eye of the World about 4 or 5 times but have never managed to finish book 3. I get bored of the series and put it to one side and then when I go to pick it back up again I can't remember what happened so start again.

I will say it was refreshing starting the book with the Big 3, Richard, Zedd and a little later Kahlan.
I don't remember Richard's brother from the show. Was he on season 1?

I need to take my butt back to you-tube then and watch that season 1 to refresh. It's been so long.
thanks Sadie

I need to check out the TV show, I didn't know it was made into a show.

I'm enjoying what I've read so far. The world not too overwhelming so far.

The fire will definitely be explained more later on.

It's alright Angel, this audiobook is 34 hours, and I am only 3 hours into it.

This is one of my all time favorite series, and I have read all the books. But this is my first time rereading for me, but it's all coming back!

I haven't been able to really spend time reading so far. I like so far, it is easy to read.

Back to reading....

I'd forgotten just how much I loved the TV show and this first book. Can't wait to get farther back into the story and then read more of the books :)

How close are series and book? Should I wait until finished with reading to watch it?

Honestly, though, you can watch it and still read the books. I think they're just different enough that you shouldn't have to worry too much -- they just make each other more enjoyable :)

I think I'll read first, watch later (only because watching will take too much time I could spend reading and getting points :P)

Kahlan on the show is perfect. She's the picture in my head now :)
I'm looking forward to reading more!

So, Zedd is the wizard and Richard is the seeker - both of those seemed pretty obvious but I still can't work out what a Confessor is. And what happens if Kahlan chooses Richard?
..."
Zed is definitely a character! He comes up with some creative ways to get his way.
So I did some reading last night night, and was hooked like the first time I read this series. I knocked back a few hundred pages!
Getting ready to start chapter 23, Richard is getting ready to meet the Mud People.

Yeah, Zebb was obvious as wizard. I'd really like us to finally find out what's the deal with Confessor. So far I'm think..."
The boundary is in the mountains. It is a magic wall, that is slowly coming down. Wizards a long time ago put it up.

Me too! I can't..."
Yes, I was mad they cancelled it.
Maybe if they followed the books more? They did change a lot from the books, and die hard readers didn't like that.

Now, I still his Craig Parker's sexy evil face, and it's still hard trying to remember how sinister he is.
Note to self: "Father" Rahl is a liar.

So did I. I'm really enjoying it so far. There's still a lot to learn about the world but it's not confusing.
