I'm reading Deadly Obsession by Maggie Shayne. It's the 4th book in the series and, once finished, I'll be up to date.

Do you normally have a few books in motion at the same time? I'm normally reading one and listening to another.

I usually have 3-4 books going at the same time. I try to make sure they are all different genres so that I don't get confused.

Just finished Deadly Obsession by Maggie Shayne, which either completes the series or brings me up to date. It was fantastic!
I'm now starting Something to Prove by Shannyn Schroeder, #3 in the O'Leary's series.

I'm loving it. I had started reading thus author as Shelly Laurenston Bundle: Big Bad Beast, the Mane Event, the Beast in Him. And loved the craziness of her writing. Don't know why I waited so long to start this series

I know! I love it. I never seem to have a problem sticking with Kelley Armstrong until I'm through :).

I love all the books in the series. They were so much fun to read.
I only found out recently that G.A. Aiken is also Shelly Laurenston. I'll need to take another look at Shelly's books. I only read the Mane Event and didn't love it as much

After finishing with the Women of the Otherworld I am definitely going to be trying her young adult series.

I enjoyed her Darkest Powers series more than her Darkness Rising series but they're both definitely worth a read. You could also try her Cainsville series (her new adult series). It gets a mixed reception from her fans but I am loving it!

Also reading "MERCY THOMPSON" series, I have to go back but I think I'm also current w/ that series; and the "WOMEN OF THE UNDERWORLD" series by Kelley Armstrong. I'm still reading the early books of this one.

I can understand if the Shelley books didn't draw you. If I had started with these books the others would have never been read. The leafing ladies take some getting use to and the rest of the series are a continuation on that theme. It either grabs you or it doesn't.

I didn't realise that it was a YA series but will see how it goes."
Oh, it's YA?? I thought it was Urban Fantasy Adult.. whoops.
