Just finished and really enjoyed it. I really like Charlie and Lincoln together. They make a very good team. Not really a fan of the other members of the ministry. I really can't stand Lady Harcourt's condescending attitude toward Charlie! She needs to be put in her place.(view spoiler) I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

I hope I finish tonight.

I was, too. The back and forth was frustrating. It gets better.

Finished last night and it was awesome!
Finally Lincoln! I was doing a happy dance!!
7. How did the characters change throughout the story? How did your opinion of them change?
Definitely Lincoln was the character with the overall change.
My opinion of him really didn't change, I still think he is a great guy that want's to protect Charlie.
10. If the book were being adapted into a movie, who would you want to see play what parts?
Julia would definitely be played by Angelina Jolie!
have to think about the other characters maybe by the time we finish the series I come up with the full cast LOL.
Yay, Elsa! I did a happy dance myself. I want to know who is after Charlie and what they will find out in France.
Not sure about Angelina Jolie playing Julia. I think she might be better as Lady Harcourt. Maybe Colin Firth as Lincoln. I loved him as Mr. Darcy!!!!

Angelina as Harcourt, that's who I ment. LOL
Yes Mr. Darcy! Firth is nice, but I also like Gerard Butler when he was in P.S. I love you and Dermot Mulroney when he was in the Wedding Date.

Description: At the request of Lady Harcourt, Charlie and Lincoln begin searching for her missing stepson. Still recovering from her ordeal at the hands of a diabolical villain, Charlie is supposed to be resting. But resting is dull, so she throws herself into the task at hand, much to Lincoln's frustration.
The search leads them down a dark path littered with family secrets and titillating scandal. Using her necromancy to expose those secrets, Charlie unwittingly raises a spirit with the power to override her control. With a dead body on the loose in London, Charlie and Lincoln must work together to send it back before havoc is unleashed, and the committee members find out.
Because if they do, they will have more ammunition in their fight to send Charlie away from her home and everyone she loves.
