I knew nothing about Tommy Orange going into the book, and admit that I still don't know much about him. He's speaking in Seattle in May as part of the library's "Seattle Reads" annual book selection, which should be an interesting event.

I'm looking forward to the discussion.
I read it about 6 months ago, hopefully still fresh enough that I can contribute to the discussion.





Yes, I've been to some at Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas. Dancing, crafts, foods, educational materials, and activities for children. It's usually held over a weekend in September.

He is speaking here in Philadelphia as well in January, as part of One Book, One Philadelphia. Seems to be a popular book this year! I am also interested in knowing more about him then.
