I had my eye on this when it was on the Women's Prize longlist in 2019 only many of the reviews were so-so - still, worth a go at this price.

OK, good to hear. He has a book about John Lennon on pre-order, but I am just curious about him. Was that an early series, Jill? Maybe - probably - he wrote the early books, but, maybe now he uses ghost writers?

Although maybe he actually did do some writing on the book he did with Bill Clinton.

Thank you for all these, Susan. I must remember to get A World Gone Mad: The Diaries of Astrid Lindgren, 1939-45 tomorrow - I have been intermittently reading a wartime diary, Few Eggs and No Oranges: The Diaries of Vere Hodgson 1940-45 for months and am getting towards the end. I will miss it.
PS - ŷ kindly recommended a diet book to me, I think because I was reading Few Eggs and No Oranges. Admittedly I could do with it, even more so after a few more weeks of lockdown ;)

The trouble is with lockdown it makes your clothes shrink!
