Brian E Reynolds | 166 comments As I re-read Jude the Obscure about 6 years ago, I will not join in it or In Scarlet and Grey, Stories of Soldiers and Others And, the Spectre of the Real. That book is actually a collection of short stories by Florence Henniker, with only one story, the Spectre of the Real co-written with Thomas Hardy. The prices for the book itself are not cheap, and since Hardy didn't write them, I won't pay it. But I did find a $.99 Kindle of The Spectre of the Real: An end-of-the-century Narrative all by itself, so I may join in just for that story.

I likely won't join in on a A Changed Man and Other Stories since I am feeling like some of these more obscure short story collections are a bit like eating leftovers too often, and I may wait until the better meal of The Woodlanders.

Brian E Reynolds | 166 comments .After being Hardy-less for a while, I have decided to join in the read of A Changed Man and Other Stories and have a Kindle copy.
Emlymom, will you being doing a reading schedule for A Changed Man and Other Stories? The Group Home Page said starting September 7th.
