I find usually the Aussie publishers always grant me their books, they must look and see I'm Australian, I guess. I'm fine with that of course! Overall we still have superior writers.

I've got it there to read. Was thinking of either it or Lovestruck next. I always loved Frances's newspaper columns.

I absolutely loved The Best Kind of Beautiful. From memory it was one of my favourites from last year

It's not my kind of thing at all because it's a war story but I suspect there's a few here that might be interested. :)

Killing Mind by Angela Marsons

Killing Mind by [author..."
Her last couple of books from Bookouture only went on NG a few weeks before publication. I think this one is out mid May so it may be late March or even April before it's on NG. We'll just have to keep checking!
The last one on NG I missed as it didn't have a cover :( Now I've learned my lesson to look at books without covers as well!
I'm still looking for Lisa Regan's latest which is #8 - hopefully soon :) Find Her Alive

First in a new series and about a bookshop. Cosy mystery - For Whom the Book Tolls by Laura Gail Black READ NOW Crooked Lane Books. Not released until August :)

I downloaded one this week that has a different title to the one on Netgalley (and isn't in GR). Very tricky when you're looking for it on the kindle!
Marianne wrote: "You all have probably read Beyond Fear by Jaye Ford but it's Read Now atm for anyone who hasn't"
Thanks Marianne. It's on there now as she's in the process of releasing it in the UK, US and Germany. She's one excited author!! I hope it does really well over there for her.

Oh that's awkward. Did you do it with the ISBN from NG? Does it need an alternate cover edition created?

I did remember your tip of trying the ISBN but it didn't come up. I'm wondering if it's an older title on the ARC that they forgot to update to the NG title (definitely better!). Will wait and see what's happening closer to publication!

The start of a new series by Susan Wilkins - Damage Done (Detective Megan Thomas) is available on Bookouture for request

"
That sounds quite good Brenda, although I am trying not to start any new series or ask for any more books from Netgalley!

Can you give me the ISBN so I can check it out please Carolyn? Thanks :) "
Thanks Brenda. The book is

The title of the file that downloaded is 'Amy and Olivia' but the details inside say it's The Sin Eater with the same ISBN so I think I have been sent the correct file.
Perhaps it was just a working or early title and wasn't updated as it's not on ŷ. Not a problem really as I now know to look for 'Amy and Olivia' when I want to read it.

A couple of weeks/months ago I would have been jumping up and down in excitement with this news.
Recently though, I had the audiobook via the library and just couldn’t get into it....my first unread Marian Keyes 🙁 and not even sure I can be bothered to try reading it. Maybe it’s that huge page number that puts me off now days!

I didn't check that - it is a bit too long for that type of book!

Seems to be a sprinkling of 2 and 3 stars amongst the 4s and 5s so it may be one of those books that doesn't suit everyone. Oh well - I down loaded it so I'll let you know what I think!

Agreed - too long for me. Maybe that’s why it’s Read Now? Can’t get enough reviewers to take the plunge.

When I do that, I do the goodreads review with "review to follow closer to publication" plus my star rating. Then when you post the full review on NetGalley, you can give the goodreads link already and when publication arrives, you can post it and it'll be there on NG as well. I used to mark the date in my diary so I wouldn't forget to post it on GR.
