The nominations thread for the April Classics Read is now open, please suggest your book choices below.

Please note there will be no pre and post-1900 rule from now on. Any classic book will count.

All books need to be seconded by someone else in order to get to the voting stage.

Cold Comfort Farm automatically goes forward (again) to the poll as it was runner-up last time, and does not need to be nominated or seconded.

This thread will remain open until 10th March and then will be closed for voting.

Nominated:

Nominated and Seconded:
Cold Comfort Farm
Travels With My Aunt
The Tree Of Man

Eva I'd like to nominate the great Australian classic, The Tree of Man by Patrick White, who won the Nobel Prize in 1973.

It's my mother's favorite book of all time and I'd love to learn why that is.
