Jenna, how is your reading schedule? Do you want to start now or are you otherwise preoccupied?

I have started already. The beginning is good! I like it so far. I was scared he is going to change the narrative but so far so good.

Sorry for dropping of the face of the planet - I will be starting this soon. I went back to work last week unexpectedly and have had a lot of things to sort out.

It’s ok, stay healthy. I’m enjoying the privilege of quarantine so I have plenty of reading time.

I am already missing being in self-isolation - I got so much reading done!

My workplace is closed until April 13. The bliss!

Hopefully, it helps lower the spread of the virus. At least you know you'll have lots of time to do some reading. :)

I know, Iain! I started this series only because I have somehow assumed it is a trilogy and seeing the Hod King, I took it for the finale.... My despair is endless. I am now debating whether to read it now and agonise later or whether to dose the pleasure and read it closer to December...

Book 3 is pretty good, tho... it's like 3 novellas... (view spoiler)[Each character/pair is split up for most of the book, with overlapping timelines... each tries to save the MC's wife from her forced marriage in different ways... we get to see different aspects of the rich ring of the Tower... then a bunch of cliffhangery stuff...

No news about the brother/thief that disappeared topside in book 2, tho, really... guess that's saved for book 4... (hide spoiler)]

Going back to work has put me into a terrible slump.

I hate slumps! Fingers crossed it will pass soon. Just so you know, I did enjoy the book.
