Interesting initiative. I hope some people will join you. Personally I can't, I'm too busy and I already have hard time to make time for Skype Debate.
Dissertation and articles rédaction in addition of e-learning things to discover news topics.
Anyway, hope such discussion group will work!

Can you clarify what you mean by announcements? Do you mean initiating an activity, starting a new thread, or both?

@Peter: it's the section announcement ;) I'm sure Pam would encourage any initiative to create an activity related to the book club as long as it follows OSS values :)

Hello. I mean the "announcements" folder is only for Moderators to announce to the entire OSS. Topics that don't originate from a moderator will be moved.

Other folders, such as the one you are in now, are for topics of conversation that fit the folder.

For example
folder: Emma's Picks
topics are on her current pick: Sex and World Piece Book including
- Reviews of book
- books like Sex and World Piece
- and now this one.

Does that help clear it up?

Got it, Pam, thank you. It was confusing to me only because the folder the post showed-up in when I read it was the one you'd already moved it to, not the announcements folder.
